I know it is seldom you see an Indian sword here, but this is to show how marks were copied.
The gauntlet is made of wootz, and the blade is very flexible, but it is Indian made.

I have one too. My mother bought it about 1915-20 in Norway.
The blade is 8 cm - about 3.2".
I dont know in which language it is written, but my guess would be Finnish.

The dot marks are likely to be inventory markings, but the katar shown in post 26 is from Bundi, although it is marked with the Bikaner dot markings.
