Most swords of this kind were made in Tjikeroeh (Cikeruh).
Tjpatjing (Cipacing) is an other village on West-Java where this type of sword was made.

It is a 'Bendo' form Cikeruh, Java.

TJIKR on the blade is an abbreviation of Tjikeroeh (old spelling of Cikeruh).

The Bendo is mainly used for cutting rattan.
