They are a kind of advertorials :D Nice hilts btw, but they indeed miss the finesse of older carvings. The patina is probably needed to more or less disguise the rough carving. Best regards, |

Bumping this old thread that I bumped into. The handle is very simple, difficult to judge for me. But as for the blade I think this is an old blade, not 30 years as suggested by Henk. Best... |

Hello Jean, Although the fit is not bad, I think the blade and scabbard where made to fit. :( The wrangka has a unusual repair with a different kind of wood. Also there is clearly some woodfiller... |
