Hard to say, since most such animals are usually rendered crudely, schematically or fantastically. My guess would be a javelina.

In case anyone is interested. Not terribly high quality photo, I'm afraid; unfamiliar camera, dark museum, and they were mounted on a wall overhead in a stairway.

The blade is suggestive of a koummya, as is the pommel, albeit a very schematic representation of the Moroccan prototype.

The brass pommel cap or finial looks something like those on many Manding...
