Shine or not to shine/ Moro kris silver pommel
The silver pommel on this kris has turned dark grey/black. Most of the ones posted in the forum and the ones I've seen in books are shiny. Should I apply metal polish to bring back the shine?

No, I don't know what the inscription says. I was hoping someone out there might be able to read it.

maranaw kris with Tiboli scabard?
Can anyone help me on this? Is the pommel elephant molar? Why would it have tiboli cloth wrapped around the scabard? (unless of course someone did it just to make it look interesting).

Lapu-lapu's kampilan
Lapu-lapu is often shown in statues holding a kampilan. I don't think from the accounts of the Magellan expedition survivors it is clear Lapu-lapu wielded a kampilan. He was from Cebu. Just...
