Well, regardless of the piece of paper, to my eyes the etch looks to be lower quality than other similar types of work I have seen on Russian award weapons, in person and in photographs, in the past....

Swiss Flintlock

Hello All,

For your consideration, a Swiss flintlock of Belgian manufacture, with markings from Canton of Aargau.

Maybe an Ordonnanz 1817 type, looks similar to French 1777 types.

Also, typical Central Asian bipod on Tibetan example. Mongolian pieces are similar, but with straighter stocks.
