Ngombe knife (CONGO)
Found this week, a Ngombe knife, before 1930, with the magic charge on the handle, initials engraved on the blade, and copper dots.
I found the shape of the blade really elegant and well balanced....

I have found similar in the book "African Metal Implements".
Described as Kapsiki by Peter Westerdijk the curator of this exhibition.

Job is done !
I've cleaned them, it was hard .
The stem are completely covered with copper ribbons and strips.
Spear point in good condition, with engravings.
