I am completely ignorant on knives of this type but those blade markings include what looks like dept of defence 'broad arrows' to me, if so this would be British or Commonwealth military...

Would you describe this hilt ?ornament as a naga head or does it look like something else anyone has seen? One eye appears to fallen out over time.

I have to say that when you look at the 'curly'...

I have to say that when you look at the 'curly' tip it does not look like it was accidentally damaged, it really looks like it was deliberately shaped to make that S-bend but I appreciate you guys...
