IMO it's rather nice to lighten things up a bit...

IMO it's rather nice to lighten things up a bit with weaponary jokes although i guess some would find them er..blunt and are wont to give er... sharp comments.....

The one with ladrang scabbard is 13.5 inch and full length 17 inch and somewhat thicker and heavier.

Apart from a few 'leeches' motif, and probably an aso head at the tip of the hilt, I find the shape and other decoration unusual for a mandau hilt.And I don't see any cavity for hair tufts...

Mandau restoration and repairs

I have a few mandaus that need some minor (?) repairs. like rebinding of rattan on the hilt and scabbards and putting new resin on hilt.

Can anyone here suggest where I can get these done in...
