Thanks! Yes, I would agree the blade is triangular in cross section with an unsharpened spine. I have seen the posts on daggers with triangular blades, I understood those were primarily double edged....

Here are some photos of the item. It’s quite small. The blade is rusted and needs cleaning but it’s still sharp. The projection at the hilt is wood.
