Can you tell if it’s a European / Spanish lock or a copy ?

Pistol Identification

Hi all. I recently acquired this pistol along with a Moroccan shula from the same seller. He had no idea of the origin of either pieces.
I’d like to think it has a Moroccan connection.
Any ideas...
