Help with info on a couple of weapons (WWII?)

Recently came into possession of a couple of hand-me-down weapons, not sure what they are or if they're worth keeping. Apparently they were collected by an American soldier in the Philippine Islands...

The Tlingit (and other NW Coast natives) sell so much of their other spiritual and religious regalia that I do not believe that to be the reason. I have commissioned other "senstitive" cultural items...

Always wanted a Tlingit dagger, so I starting looking around for a Tlingit to make one for me. Couldn't find anyone, so I started looking to non-Tlingit bladesmiths.
