I suspect the key to this might be the handle pins. I feel like I have seen similar screw fittings on some bayonets.

Every time that I come across an item like this, I wish it could talk. It certainly interesting. To me this was a child’s sword. Perhaps made by a parent during the height of the swashbuckler film...

Unusual Balkan knife/yataghan

This looks to be a fairly modern item. The handles are aluminum and wood. The blade is marked "Consiple Extra". Does anyone know what that means?

I would appreciate any information on this...

I am having a hard time getting past the fit and finish of the handle. I would expect the wooden handle to have proper bolsters to keep the ends from splitting or chipping.

Need help identifying a SEA knife

This good looking knife (small parang?) appears to be of Malaysian origins to me. It is well marked and I am hoping a translation can help us to identify the period and place of origin.
