Thanks Vandoo. I'll try looking in that direction. I've also been trying to figure out what kind of an animal that it's supposed to be. Dragon, pterodactyl :), wild boar, crocodile, wolf?

Here's a nice Penobscot that I used to own

Really regret having sold this piece. Late 18th -early 19th C.

Could use some help in identifying this piece

Hi Folks. I just picked up this piece at a fleamarket and was wondering if anyone here could help me in identifying it's origin. It is hardwood and has nice patina and wear. Thanks. Mike
