I think you solved it, great find! That Pitt Rivers Museum example looks close to me, so it would seem that it has South Sudan/Uganda origin. Thank you!

Thank you all for your responses! It seems like northern Africa or possibly Mongolia is the place of origin for this knife. The scabbard has a wood core covered in leather.

Interesting pieces, they both look Congolese to me. The barbed spear looks like a zaga of the Ngbandi people. The other spear could also be Ngbandi but I am not as confident in that ID. Hope your are...

Thanks, it does look somewhat similar to the Lele/Lulua sword on pg. 15, but the hilt is odd. I wonder if it is a recent replacement?
