Hi Matt,

This is a sword from the Konda-tribe in Congo. Don't think the grip is in rhino horn. This is not customary with this kind of knife. It's well patinated wood.

The knife from Fagan is not Konda but Teke.
Yours is Konda.

Very Impressive

Hi,

Not my area of knowledge in any way shape or form but I must say, these and many other weapons I have seen from Africa, they all seem to have a very Strong presence about them. I love the lines.

Thanks

Gav

Oups, a mistake in my text above.

Every one understood that it was KONDA and not KUBA. Sorry!!
