Hello ,
I'm a new member here on the forum , after visiting and reading first a couple of weeks here. A lot of good information is here to find. Here some photos of a toho spear from nias , i really want to hear your opinion on it. |
Hi Danny,
Welcome on the forum (hehe, eindelijk gelukt?). Nice spear! I will have a look at it the 17th! ;) Regards, Maurice |
Hi Danny,
Nice toho spear. It still has a steel butt end which is not very common. Often they are gone or the shaft is even shortened. Lot of rattan bands. nice spear. Best regards, Willem |
He Willem,
Thanks! Indeed the but cap is still on , but i.m not sure if it,s stil the original lenght. The lengt now is 1.66 cm Do u know if that is possible or is it maybe shortend? Doe,s anybody know that? Danny |
Hi Danny,
I don't know that much about Nias spears but nice to see you here. Michael |
hI michael,
it,s nice to be here , good info. Unfortunaly nobody can answer my question about the toho, the lengt is only 176 cm and i have the idee that it,s not a real old one , i mean before 1915. when i look at old photo,s from nias wariors the toho spear the caried it,s much longer then 176 or maybe the where realy little ...
