a barong I bought awhile ago

I don't know if this is legit :shrug: we'll see...
Blade Length === 17 1/4 "
Handle Length == 5 1/2 "
Overall ======== 22 3/4 "

I bought this on eBay from artotec. The ferrule is somewhat loose. There's cracks an 2 holes in the pommel. The blade has a lot of light darkish marks (patina?) and a lot of semi-circular marks as if an abrasion was applied, like steel wool... it fits almost perfectly in my hand, and has a very weight-forward feel. The blade isn't very sharp but it can cut, just not shave. No sheath. The blade seems very secure, but I won't be abusing it to find out. I'm interested in finding out if it's an antique or just vintage. If it's touristy or fully functional, etc. Perhaps also where it's from or its maker... my guess is that it's not the most valuable barong out there, and probably not high quality, likely to have been made within the last few decades... but I'm not an expert at all, so don't take my word for it!
