Unusal Negrito Bolo Serpentine

I have some friends who brought me this bolo but I have been unable to pin it down , know it came from the Queen of the Negrito tribe and was presented to a US General who was one of the few chest surgeons in the army , he received it when he was leaving the Pillipines in the Mid 1960's. the only markings are on the blade being Negrito Bolo, I have seen some but none with the serpentine blade , blade almost has an aura of silver but I am not sure. If you could provide any background and email what you think ( ramblinrec@earthlink.net ) I would be so appreciative
