Indonesian(?) 1831 style French Infantry Short Sword

Hullo everybody,

Firstly, I am truly sorry if this is not the right place for my post.

Recently I have noticed many times many similar items being offered as: French Dussack style sword used in Indonesia, from Indonesia etc. etc.. dated ca.1820, 1840 etc.
It looks like a Roman Gladius with a brass hilt.

As I have never heard of such a sword, let alone seen one, I became very curious.
After a bit of research, I found that it is identical to a 1831 model French Infantry Short Sword.

My question is: Does anyone have any information, or know about any information, regarding the use/production of this item in Indonesia?

Thank you.
