strange officers sword, handle is of shamshir/kilic style while rest of sword is normal german made for turkish market. brass handle has florals and designs as same as on scabbard bands. julius voos fabrique d'armes solingen is on spine of blade with crescent star design on blade with florals also. has anyone seen one like this before, and if so for repairs what would have been the cross guard, remnants of dirt on blade indicate possible crossguard like a kilic. thanks

Ottoman, late 19th, early 20th century. The blades were either import ( German, most often) or local, imitating German prototypes.
The crossguard should have drooping quillons.
