Hello,
I wonder if anybody can tell me anything about this piece. There are holes where I assume a method of suspension would have been. The script may be incorrectly positioned in photo unfortunately not something I am familiar with.

Hi Norman

Your horn maybe Sudanese it seems very well made so it may Arabian. here is a pic of Manding powder horn from my collection notice there is an leather overlay that the suspensions are attached to.

It doesn't look like any of those so not North African? Arabic script ,I think, that would still cover a lot of locations, more ideas welcome.
