Just got this on ebay. Haven't received it yet, and I'm puzzled by the script on the blade. Can anyone read it?

Nice little jambiya and I think this one is Persian or Balkin?

I would guess Syrian/Kurdish/Eastern Anatolian. The hilt and the koftgari on the scabbard point this way.

And I need some translation. My friend says that it's some kind of archaic Arabic script, what with the arrows and all.

The handle is almost as long as the blade, which has a VERY pronounced curve.

Also, is the decoration on the scabbard koftgari or niello?

the decoration on scabbard and blade is koftgari
