Kaskara for Comment
6 Attachment(s)
This has been passed around as much as my ex-wife. Both are sharp, pointed, deadly and leather-wrapped. But the sword is here to stay and thankfully she is not.
I would welcome your kind comments on my favorite Kaskara, BTW the discoloration you may see is my overhead lighting. The flash did not overpower it. |
Hi Bill,
It is a old beautie, different scabbard. If you ever want to pass it on again let me know. (the sword not the ex). Jeff |
Tres sexy Bill. A fine and desirable example!
|
One of the best I have ever seen! Congratulations!

Any chance of finding out what the inscriptions say?

Nice puppy. Usually I'm not into kaskara, unless they have silver hilts and arabic.

That's a beautiful piece and I suspect that hilt IS silver, while the blade appears to be European originally?
Even the leatherwork looks to be of superior quality, so all in all, I;d say that you've got a pretty one there. Clean that hilt up and I think you'll be amazed at just how attractive that sword is. Very nice piece. Mike |
Posted this a while back and just enjoying this Kaskara all over again. Doing some cleaning and dusting.
