Hi All

Just picked this up at the Ebay mall :) the club seems older but what is that wooden spear used for? Tim it only put me back about four fish and chips ;)

At that price you could treat yourself to a tin of Irn Bru, fish and chips can bring on a thirst.

Nice club, looks a bit like Dinka? I would certainly say that area. The spear is probably a dance accoutrement. The club might be too, that does not mean you cannot hit somebody with it. Looks like it has some age?

Irn bru tastes disgusting as all soft drinks do. I am with W.C.Fields on that fact. Now what did he say about water ?

Tim

I'm off to the pub for some fish and chips and a couple of pints. :D No soft drinks tonight for me ;)

I think that W C Fields said...

"Water? rusts your pipes and rots leather! what d'you want to drink that stuff for?"

just curious, from the earlier image

it looks like the head and the shaft are two pieces, if so, how are they secured together?
