short iron spear; African?

31" all iron construction, and fairly lavishly decorated. Similar to spears I've seen ID'd as Indo Persian. #bay #3942507492. Thoughts?

Hi Tom

The spear looks like it's from North Africa possibly Taureg?

I WOULD AGREE THAT THE SPEAR LOOKS TUREG DUE TO THE BUT END LOOKING LIKE A ICE SCRAPER. TUREG SPEARS ARE OFTEN ALL IRON AND SOME DO HAVE DECORATION THE TIP IS A BIT DIFFERENT ON THIS EXAMPLE AND THE LEGNTH IS WAY TOO SHORT. PERHAPS IT WAS MADE FOR CEREMONY ONLY OR IN A CONVIENENT SIZE FOR TOURISTS TO CARRY HOME ? IMPOSIBLE TO TELL MUCH FROM THOSE PICTURES.
