it is very nice koummiya ....but my question is it is new or old, becouse it is in perfect condition.....

the blade is military blade, tracknless is 4,3 mm....

it is brass and decoration is had made...

I don't think it's brand new, but I'd guess 20th century, based on the crude finish on the brasswork of the brackets that normally hold the rings for the dagger's cords. The engraving is also very simple, just a single punch repeated again and again....

You say the blade is thick and sturdy, but is it sharp or too dull to cut water? I actually had one pass through my hands with an ALUMINUM blade.... :eek:

yes, blade is sharp in all and 2 sides... and it is much curve... it is in steel not alluminium.......for me it is old 1930-1950....
