Azimat and Aceh swords

In an earlier thread Dajak posted a very fine peudeung pasangan with a hulu meu apet. In that thread he showed a picture of an azimat also called a zimat, ajimat or tangkal. ( http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ghlight=azimat ) I brought this subject back up to share some pictures of Azimat from the national library in Indonesia

Now for the part I did not know before Azimat are also inscribed on sheaths of Aceh weapons
