Strange jambiya

ebay item 120051816486

What do you think?

It has something nepalese, resembles a kukri, but it isn't a kukri. Northern India, maybe?

Looks recently made 1970s-80s to me an Indian or Nepalese hybrid knife?

A decent photo would help identification (although might not have been as helpful for sale). I'd say post-1950 Indian jambiya intended for the pleasure traveler.

Dehradun made, could be forties could be sixties.Early 70s even, something around mid 20th century for sure.

It is Junk as weaopnry though, definatly for drunken squaddies on leave or sight seerers who hopefully enjoyed the journey.

Not for anyone with half a clue.
