Possible Shona Bow and Arrows

I visited the Bravo 6, Oribi Commando Headquarters Mess yesterday and saw this sitting in the corner. They seem to fit the the description of a Shona bow and arrow given in Christopher Spring African Arms and Armour All I had for lighting was the built in flash on my digital camera but took pictures any way. Being a Mess it was a bit dark inside.

Any of you knowledgeable types have a better idea what they may be? Bravo 6 supposedly operated only in South Africa. Shonaland of course is Zimbabwe.

Hi DD,
I personally feel that bows are incredibly hard to 'place', I do know that the socket arrow heads tend to be less common....I have a couple that are Sudanese..., I suspect that the arrows may provide more clues than the bow itself. Sorry I cant help further.
