6 Attachment(s)
Hi guys, this is arrived today, a nice Shi-Hutu sword. The blade is very thick: 1 cm. The handle was broken off and then it was fixed with some kind of resin and a strip of woven.
P.S. Tim, this is a sword!! :D :D |

Sweet sword. It's very much like the one I have in my collection. Lew |
Thank you Lew, i have watched better the handle and in origin there was some kind of wire near the blade, maybe you can see the impression on wood on the third pics from above.

The wrapping on the hilt seems to be very old canvas and looks like an old tribal repair I also see some old nalis in the hilt. It's still a nice example of a rare sword. Congrats. Lew |
It is and I think you are far to lucky these days :D
|
Yes Lew, old canvas, small copper nails and resin.
