We all end up collecting a few ethnographic artefacts other than just weapons. I have just acquired some interesting pieces of 19th century North Californian Native American possibly Hupa people, smoking and bead making tools. A smoking tube with tampers/cleaners and raw hide bag. The dark one looks like it could be made from horn. The bead making tools; a stone drill anvil which is very nicely carved featuring a peg form to make stable in the groud. A cordage reel fabric wrapped 27cm long and a bead loom stick 63cm long. The hole in the loom stick go through to the over side. Example of the items shown can be researched in the NMAI database.
