kindly requested to advice; looking up the public profile of some of our members, I get 2 results:

1. most I get acces and see the profile and can send PM's

2. some , a few actually I get denied and the enclosed message
as I am a member of quite some years I would like to know the root cause of the denied access as I can nowhre find an explanation....:(

The person you are wanting to send a private message to is probably still in moderated status, so their profile page will be set as private. PMs will still work if you click on "Your Notifications" in the upper right, next in the page that comes up click "send new message" from the left column, and then manually enter the user name.
