Dears,

Can you help me identify manufacturer of that pistol? - mark on the barrel (for me looks like two crowns with some star/dot in between - but I might be wrong). Similar to Leopold Becher pistols

Anyone able to put some light on the mark ?

As the brass pan is the same as the pan of the Austrian cavalry pistol 1798 I think this pistol is made in Austria. For identifying the barrel mark it needs a better foto

Dear Corrado, I hope the picture is better (still not ideal)

The mark shows two crowns one upon another, but couldn't find this mark anywhere in my well-stocked documentation, sorry.

Anyway thank you for checking !

Other thoughts I had - maybe that mark is a proof of barrel test? They were using repeated symbols for that purpose.
