One star Peurise Awe

I've added an interesting peurise awe, with one large brass star ornament in the centre.
The star is from the same size of the star in the centre of my very large Peurise.

This is the second one of this kind I've seen for sale, and the one I've seen before had been sold when I found it.
The third one I know is in the NMVW museum collection, with a collection number that starts with 'RV-03', which is one of the oldest museum numbers, which means it is from before 1861 for sure.

Any thoughts? And is there somebody with a similar shield?

Many thanks,
Maurice

Hi Maurice,

Very nice and unusual peurise awe, it's the first one I have seen until now with only one star! Great catch!

Detlef

Hi Maurice,

Nice shield(s)

I have never seen or had a shield with only one start in the centre.

Nice display you have there :)

Best regards,
Willem

Hi Willem and Albert,

Thank you for your reply!
It's already hanging at our wall, so I can enjoy it every time I'm coming home from work. :)

Best wishes,
Maurice
