Could you please provide a photo of the top of the gonjo looking directly down onto it, & the length of the blade from the top of the gonjo to the tip of the blade.

Thank you.

Based upon the Surakarta parameters of Tangguh classification, the gonjo profile suggests Pajajaran, however the rondha form suggests a tendency to Surakarta. Taking these two indicators & noting the blumbangan form, the length of the blade and the overall robust form, my classification of this blade would be Banten.

Thank you for the classification, Alan.
I’ve noticed that many keris identified as Banten in Jensen’s Krisdisk are dated to before the 18th century. In your view, would this blade also fall into that earlier period?

I’m also sharing some photos of the blade with its warangka for context.

I'm sorry Wijaya, but I cannot attempt to date an old keris blade from a photograph, no matter how good that photo or photos might be.

Keep in mind that classification or tunggah does not necessarily place a keris in an actual time period.
