Beautiful Stiletto - Any Info?

Hello,

Hope everyone is well. I just received this piece from the old continent and I'm absolutely blown away by the craftmanship. Nothing being made today(afaik, if I'm wrong let me know) compares to this beauty as far as stilettos go. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated. It was sold as "XIX century Italian Stiletto".

Thank you!

Might be Italian.

I hope it is not a Victorian copy........

The seller did say "XIX century" so that is in Victorian range. It is very well made regardless.

The Victorians made high quality copies back then. Some even collect them in their own right.

A friend of mine was making and selling them, as honest replicas, at the end of the 20thC.

I rather wish I had bought one from him at the time. Mainly sold to young ladies in reenactment societies.
