Wootz blades are, although you see them now and again, are not seen that often, but here is one.

Jens, you always tease us with posting only a close-up of the blade, and not posting the whole weapon. Let us see it in its full glory first, and then move on to the details. ;)

You have without a doubt the most gorgeous wootz blades. :) In my opinion the wootz pattern is the best part of any blade even if it has gold inlay, Ivory, Jade, etc. handles, again In my opinion to much gold takes away from the wootz pattern, and the dagger that you have shown has some of the best watering I have ever seen. I also would like to see a picture of the whole dagger and some history on it. I appreciate you posting it. EGB |
