This is my first Koummya and maybe my last….:D It depends on your opinions…
This is the seller pictures because I bought it today…. Should really appreciate your opinions…. Best, Stefan |
That is a very nice dagger. Any Koummya collector would be proud to have it.

What can we say other than that it this is a high quality, older (looks like it is dated to the end of the 19th/start of the 20th century) koummaya with what looks like a rhino horn hilt. You have done well.

Hi,
I very much agree with Drabant1701. A thought-after type by any koummya collector. One of the things that makes this type so valuable is that most, though not all, have a rhino horn hilt. Yours looks like rhino horn, but better pics are needed to establish that. Decoration and condition are very good too, and the blade looks above par even for a high quality koummya. The writing on the pommel is Arabic, but very stylized. Perhaps someone in the forum can read it. |
Really nice !
Yes seems rhino hilt !( better pics welcomed ...) Idem for the blade, pics for see the quality |

I don't think too it's just a chance and that you get it for 20 $ !... ( if yes, try to play lottery or bingo ! :) ) Glad if you put some close up pictures of the hilt and blade when you get it |
