Moroccan Military Issue Dagger

Lotfy recently shared an interesting Saudi Government Issued Saif, and I am following with not so interesting but unusual Moroccan Military(?) issue dagger. The more common and well known of these types are Ottoman military issues made based on 16th Century Ottoman dagger. This one also looks to be military issue with matching serial numbers..but in English  The blade is of typical Moroccan koumaya, the handle and scabbard are steel/pewter cast, and the scabbard shows cast design of early Ottoman motif. Similar cast of Moroccan Koumaya is known to be produced in Toledo in the late 1900's, but signed "made in Toledo". This one is not. The "M.SCH" mark" in English could also indicate Morocco... Marines..., i.e. locally produced souvenir. Anyone saw anything similar or has any comments. Thanks!

Interesting piece, I wondered about it too since it seemed well made but so foreign to my eyes that I didnt know what to make of it! great topic

I cannot believe a government would equip its forces with such low quality?
