I'd like to see detail of any markings on the spear head to the left of the on in question to confirm a suspicion I have.

With thanks

Gavin

Looks like the sort of quality Sudanese version of Indo/Persian work. This kind of embellishment can be found in many parts of Africa where Islam had influence? Like tabouka/kaskara form swords?

The spear with the silver ball is probably from the Somalia region. Is the blade socket faceted ?

Looks a nice spear.
