I searched UNESCO before placing this link here and could not find it published within these pages... word searches showed very few references to the organisation so here is a link to their site, specifically and introduction to the keris, the slideshow and short introduction video.

Thanks Gavin. In 2005 UNESCO award the keris the title of Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
