Arrived today, having made a trouble free journey from the USA to my door. Many thanks to Spunger for selling me this truly excellent example. I could not be happier, and the photo's do not really do it justice. Eleven and a half inches, 29cm, long in the scabbard, and a good sturdy blade that I think might well be laminated.

 Hello David,
very nice bigger one! Congrats. Would guess that it is from 1920-1930. Regards, Detlef |

I wish I could say that my first gunong was anywhere near as nice as the one that you have just received. My congratulations on this wonderful addition to your collection.

Congrats, that's a real nice piece.
I always find it interesting that the silver work, and there are a number of different applications, they all share the same feel and style as many Jambiya. Gavin |
