Polynesian exhibition - London
For anyone interested in the history and material culture of Polynesia... there is currently an excellent small exhibition at the Brunei Gallery, London entitled "Missionaries and Idols in Polynesia". Not much in the way of weapons, but many of the exhibits are not normally shown to the public.
Its runs 9th July - 19th September 2015 and admission is free. See www.soas.ac.uk/gallery/polynesia |
