I've recently picked these up.The top sword is very heavy and balanced for cleaving.

Some very nice pieces! :) I think that you would have get more respond when you have given each piece an own thread.
The dagger in up was on my watch list, I am a little bit unsure about the origin but think that it could be from the Visayas. The leather throat let me think like this.
The bolo is from Luzon, are the fittings from silver?
The kris shaped dagger is from Luzon as well, maybe the oldest piece.
The binangon with the bone spacer at the handle is very nice, around 1910-1920 would be my age guess.
The other sword is a little mystery to me since I am very unsure about the origin, it has both, Visayan and Luzon features but for sure also a nice sword.
Congrats for adding such nice blades to your collection.

Regards,
Detlef

Thanks for the complements ; I thought that rather than crowd the forum with 5 posts, I would throw these out and if there was any interest respond accordingly. I believe you are correct that the fittings on the bolo are a low grade silver, a coin silver or it could even be a nickel silver.
