I found this NGOMBE béro, 43cm, light metal, rare shape, and strange forge, a kind of "damas" ?
It is the first time I see this kind of forging with an african weapon.
The piece is good, first half of XXth, I've got it with another Béro with the same shape but a traditionnal forging.

This one is bigger, 50cm, made of "classic" african metal.

That is a nice one you have there. My feeling is that the blade was forged from either wrought iron or maybe a farm implement that was made from imported shear steel from Europe.
