Have just landed this Barutdan but have never seen one (or a pic of one) with a stopper.
Can anyone please post a pic showing the stopper?

Hi Stu. I have a pic somewhere in my library. I'll find and post it Saturday when I get home. Rick.

Here is an elaborate example.

Hi Stu. I can't get to my photo library till Monday. I will search for it then. The plain wood/horn stoppers for this style of flask look like the shape of a small door knob. At least the ones I've seen. It's too bad most of these stoppers are usually missing :( Meantime, try googling Indonesia Persian powder flask and see what comes up. Rick.

By the way, that's a really nice piece, especially with the leather strap still intact. ;) Rick.

I meant to say: Indo-Persian. Getting old I guess. :o
Should not be to difficult to have turned on a wood lathe. Rick.
