Digeni your yataghan is from balkan, and the inscription in the blade is greek or cyriliks. I m not sure because the leters is not clear.
Very beautiful yataghan.

I think it is Balkan as well. I am not sure that there is writing on it or that what you see is not just decoration. I will be able to tell when it actually arrives. I think there may be a pattern on the blade. Hope springs eternal!
