Opinions on Kilij scabbard

Hello everyone!
I have registered to this forum today and i hope that you can give me some feedback as to my research into this kilij scabbard that I have.
I have concluded that it is of Syrian make. Or at least the brass fittings. Brass fittings are probably made around early 20th century.
The wood is light in colour, probably from the same time as the brass.
The iron fittings may be older what do you think?
I would appriciate your coments on my theories.

I found two scabbard online that are very similar.

kilij scabbard

My opinion for kilij scabbard is a syrian work for ottoman empire market in last quarter 19 century. I think the wood is new and the iron parts in scabbard is from a older sword.

The kilij that the scabbard was made for is early 19th century and has a iron crossguard so they might have saved the iron fitting from the old scabbard and replaced the rest.
