I've had this thing for nearly twenty years, and still don't know what it is. May not be Ethnographic at all. My thought has always been, something to do with a musical instrument. The two "notches" may indicate some sort of adjustment, or tensioner? Any ideas??? :shrug:

As for the wooden object. I see letters, a house. My guess is maybe an arm rest of a rather fragile chair :shrug: |
